Diplus (Di+)
Outlook
What is Diplus?
"Di+" is a Homologous modeling software which is used for Human body information analysis, such as Foot, Head and other parts of Human body. Modeling needs Modeling definition, and the Model is generated from Shape data and defined Landmark points.
Homologous model consists of defined same data points and same number of polygons.
Morphological analysis
Data sort and Average:
After getting homologous models and registered to Diplus DB, Model data can be applied for statistical analysis,
generating average model and distribution map.
Process
First of all, Foot modeling definition has to be obtained. Definition is able to be developed by user. Following is one of Foot modeling samples.
The definition of this sample model :
- Foot Form point clouds data and 5 Landmarks.
- 13 cross sections and defined 295 points on cross sections.
- Connecting info among 295 points to generate polygons.
Modeling Sample
INFOOT Scanned Data, Foot Form and 5 Landmarks. Difned Landmark automatic recognition available in INFOOT system. 5 Landmarks are required for Foot modeling, MT, MF, Sphyrion, Sphyrion Fibulare and Tentative Junction point.
Please see Landmark & dimension
13 Homologous Cross sections are generated from Foot form data and 5 Landmarks based on Foot modeling definition. After getting 13 cross sections, defined points in each cross sections are also generated based on Foot modeling definition. 295 is total number of defined points in 13 cross sections.
Polygon model is generated from 295 points based on Preset Polygon Connecting info, and is saved as BYU data format(GEO).
Head and Face modeling sample. Head and Face model is different from Foot model, numbers of cross section and points of model.
